The statistics for the orphaned children of Guatemala is staggering. Nearly 400,000 orphans reside in Guatemala, nearly 1 in 4 children abandoned in the streets each day. Little Lambs is helping to bridge the gap for these children by providing food, shelter, and a loving environment where they can learn about Jesus Christ. Since March, we have received two new children totaling 10 children that are under our care. Many of the children come to us with difficult backgrounds. The wounds they have endured is unimaginable for most to comprehend. However, we are reminded of Jeremiah 30:17 “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the LORD, because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares.” We serve a God who is a Redeemer and Restorer of things and people once lost. Here at Little Lambs International these children are learning about the true love of God. The kind of love that calls them beloved children of the King instead of outcasts!
